Hey, I’m Ola.
I’m Ola — founder of YourSJO, which stands for Your Surrogacy Journey with Ola, and a proud mom to the most curious, funny, and whip-smart little boy, thanks to the gift of egg donation and surrogacy.
I support people from around the world as they begin one of life’s most important journeys: building a family.
I speak English, French, Spanish, and Polish fluently, and I’ve walked this road myself — not only as a former intended parent, but now as a dedicated patient advocate and international surrogacy consultant.
Before working in fertility, I spent over a decade in language and communication, helping people bridge cultural and emotional gaps. Now, I bring that same clarity, empathy, and precision to my work in reproductive medicine.
Whether you’re just starting to consider surrogacy, or already deep in research mode, I’m here to guide you with honest answers, lived insight, and a network of trusted professionals.

My Surrogacy Journey
A few years ago, I stepped into the world of surrogacy — and it changed my life forever.
It wasn’t always simple. Like many intended parents, I experienced moments of fear, doubt, and emotional overwhelm. But what followed was nothing short of extraordinary: the birth of my son, a connection for life with my surrogate and egg donor, and a renewed sense of strength I didn’t know I had.
We’re still close today — a bond I’ll always treasure.
Surrogacy isn’t “just a process.” It’s a deeply personal experience. One filled with complexity, growth, and yes, joy. I consider it a once-in-a-lifetime path — and I’d be honored to help you walk yours.

Working with Intended Parents
on their surrogacy journey
STEP #1
Choose Your Clinic & Create Embryos
The first step is selecting your fertility clinic. This is where you’ll undergo medical consultations, create embryos, and, if needed, select an egg donor. I work independently and can connect you with trusted clinics (including Utah Fertility Center). My job is to help you understand the options and choose what fits you best.
The Surrogacy Journey Steps
STEP #2
Match with an Agency & Surrogate
Once embryos are created, you’ll work with a trusted surrogacy agency to find the right gestational carrier. Legal contracts are signed, and the surrogate undergoes final medical clearance at the clinic.
STEP #3
Embryo Transfer & Pregnancy
After clearance, the embryo transfer takes place. If successful, your surrogate becomes pregnant, and your journey to parenthood is officially underway — supported by your agency, clinic, and me.

By booking a free call with me to go through all the steps in detail — I’ll walk you through what to expect and help you define your path. You can also check out social media profiles and intended parent groups, which are great sources of real-life stories and support.

Yes, absolutely. Many of the people I work with are LGBTQ+ or single, and they’ve built beautiful families through surrogacy. Utah Fertility Center (UFC) , SDFC (San Diego Fertility Center) and many others are known for being inclusive and compassionate — they truly want to support everyone on their path to parenthood, regardless of background, gender identity, or relationship status.
-
One big advantage is that UFC has an in-house, pre-screened egg donor database (around 300 donors). For some couples, that can mean more choice and faster timelines, depending on availability. We’ll discuss whether that’s relevant for your case.
-
Embryo creation starts with choosing an egg source — either your own or a donor (some clinics such as UFC have a large in-house egg donor database, otherwise an egg donor agency is needed). Then, sperm is provided or selected (including from a bank). The lab team uses IVF to create embryos, and once ready, they’re genetically tested (if desired) and frozen until a transfer is planned. All along the way, the medical team ensures everything is carefully timed and tailored to your needs.

This is not just a medical process — it’s deeply emotional, too. That’s why I’m here. I’ve been through it myself and now help intended parents navigate everything from clinic logistics to emotional hurdles. The clinic also provides compassionate care, transparent communication, and coordination every step of the way — from your first consultation to birth.
But it’s my pleasure to accompany and guide you on that journey.
DISCLOSURE: I’m independent. I may receive a referral fee from partner clinics if you choose to work with them, and I always tell you this upfront. You’re free to choose any clinic.
I can guide and support you, but medical decisions and pricing are always confirmed directly with the clinic.
